A practical way to maintain an heightened state of Catholic zeal is to start, or join, a study circle.

Would anyone like to join my Circle?

    Hello,

I’m a frequent reader of your website and am very thankful for the hard work you put into it and into your teachings. It is so hard to find good, orthodox Catholic teaching from the pulpit these days, so to have a website like yours that loves the faith and isnt’ afraid to say it is very reassuring.
I really want to learn more about my faith and would like to take up studying in the St. Augustine Institute after I finish my nursing curriculum in October. Can I study with the institute on my own or does it have to be in a study group. I love the Catholic faith and am very impressed with the thought of Thomas Aquinas, Von Hildebrand, and Joseph Pieper, to name a few. But I also find myself still getting sucked into the eastern philosphy that I was attracted to and practiced for a while during college. I want to deepen my understanding of the Catholic faith so I can finally put away once and for all my interest in eastern philosophy. Once my wife and I start having children, I want to make sure I’m giving them a good, orthodox Catholic education.
I’m sorry for having rambled for so long, but I just wanted to say thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do for the Catholic faith and to let you know that it does not go unappreciated. I hope to meet all of you one day in the future or at least study with the institute.

    Take care and God Bless.

    Christo et Ecclesiae,

    Joseph Akin

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for your interest in the Study Circles. I will be sure Br. John Marie Vianney, M.I.C.M., Tert. knows of your interest.
